§ 13-15. Cargo statements.

  • All owners and/or agents shall, within five (5) days after date of sailing of any of their vessels, report to the harbor master all cargo loaded or discharged at all points within Conn Brown Harbor and/or ship channels. Such report shall be certified by a duly authorized person as being true and correct according to the ship's mutual manifest, and shall show the following separated as to loading or discharge ports:

    (1)

    Name of vessel;

    (2)

    Date of arrival;

    (3)

    Date of departure;

    (4)

    Number of packages or units;

    (5)

    Identifying marks;

    (6)

    Weight in pounds;

    (7)

    Origin of outbound cargo;

    (8)

    Port of discharge of outbound cargo;

    (9)

    Loading port of inbound cargo;

    (10)

    Destination of inbound cargo;

    (11)

    Port of transhipped and final discharge port of transhipped cargo.

    Owners and/or agents shall also be required to furnish any other information which the harbor master may deem necessary for the purpose of identifying cargo and for issuing billing against cargo and/or vessel, and for properly compiling commercial statistics, or for other purposes deemed necessary by the harbor master for conduct of his affairs.
