§ 19.5-2. Organized activities.

  • For the purpose of carrying out the provisions of subsection 19.5-1(b)(2) hereinabove, applications for the use of city parks or other city properties shall be submitted to the parks and recreation department upon such forms as may be promulgated by the city and which shall be available in the office of the parks and recreation department. Upon receipt of applications, the parks and recreation department shall have full power and authority to act on behalf of the city in determining whether such reservation request shall be granted or denied. A one hundred dollar ($100.00) deposit is required with the submittal of the park reservation application. Pending applicant's compliance with park reservation requirements as listed on the reservation application, a refund of up to fifty dollars ($50.00) may be made to professional, business or like organizations and up to one hundred dollars ($100.00) for individual group applicants.
